Robert Doisneau was a photographer who was a contemporary of Henri Cartier-Bresson. Doisneau is one of my favorite street photographers. https://www.robert-doisneau.com/fr/portfolios/ This link has his work in multiple portfolios organized in different categories. He didn't only shoot street photos. When you look through his work, I think you will see that he was a master of composition and had a good eye for finding intriguing scenes. Some of his photos have a touch of humor. Here is a link to an Art of Photography video about Doisneau. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPVs70dNBAw

I used to have 2 favorite color street photographers: Saul Leiter and Alex Webb. I have added a third: Harry Gruyaert. I got his book a couple of days ago and love his work. His early work was shot in Kodachrome. Some of his photos have a very surreal feeling to them. This video is a good introduction to his photos.
